Text: The number of Horses on the Board can be no more that fifty percent, rounded down, of the number of Players. If, by a reduction in the number of Players or increase in the population of Horses, the Horse population gets too high, one or more horses, chosen at random, will die, until the terms of this Rule are met.

If a Horse is being ridden at the time of its death, the rider is thrown and cannot mount any other horse during the current Game.

A dead Horse is size 0. A live Horse will not move into a Cell occupied by a Dead Horse.
